About Sarah & Company

Better businesses
create better work.

We believe a company can be financially strong, operationally clear, genuinely human, and an excellent place to work—all at the same time.

Purpose before process.

We help growing companies connect their people to a shared purpose, replace chaos with practical systems, and build sustainable organizations that serve their owners, employees, customers, and communities.

01 · Our Purpose

To make work better.

For business owners, employees, customers, and communities.

02 · Our Mission

Clear the chaos. Build with purpose.

Sarah & Company helps growing businesses align their people around a shared purpose and build the financial and operational foundation for sustainable growth. Through Fractional Leadership & Business Advisory, Fractional Finance & Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Talent & Recruiting, we work as a transparent, hands-on extension of each client’s team—bringing clarity to the numbers, structure to the work, and greater meaning to the roles people perform every day.

03 · Our Vision

A more flexible way to access—and provide—exceptional work.

We are building a new kind of professional-services firm: one that transforms how growing businesses access expertise and how talented people experience work. We envision stronger companies with aligned teams, practical systems, healthy cultures, exceptional customer experiences, and the ability to create meaningful jobs in their communities.

The work should
mean something.

Sarah is deeply drawn to the idea behind ikigai: that people thrive when their work connects to purpose, contribution, personal strengths, and a meaningful life.

That belief shapes how we approach business operating systems. Mission, vision, and values should never be words that simply live on a wall. When people understand why the company exists, how their role contributes, and what they are collectively working toward, teams can accomplish remarkable things.

Clear roles, useful processes, honest communication, and healthy meeting rhythms give people the structure to do their best work. The owner experiences less chaos, employees find more meaning, and customers receive a better experience.

How we show up
in the work.

01

Lead with Curiosity

We ask thoughtful questions before offering answers. Every business and every person is different, so we seek to understand what is really happening before deciding what should happen next.

02

Value Relationships

Trust is built through honesty, transparency, consistency, and genuine care. We treat clients, employees, candidates, and partners as people—not transactions.

03

Clear the Chaos

We turn complicated numbers, scattered processes, and unclear responsibilities into practical systems people can understand and use. Clarity creates confidence.

04

Develop People

Great businesses are built by people who are encouraged to learn, contribute, and grow. We coach, teach, share knowledge, and help people recognize the purpose and potential in their work.

05

Own the Outcome

We do more than make recommendations. We take responsibility, follow through, communicate openly, and stay involved until the work creates meaningful progress.

The right expertise at the right time.

Growing businesses should not be forced to hire every position full-time before they are ready. Sarah & Company brings together experienced fractional leaders, business advisors, financial leaders, bookkeepers, coaches, and recruiting professionals based on what each client actually needs.

We are building the same kind of workplace internally: flexible, trusted, accountable, and designed so talented people can do excellent work while having room for a meaningful life.

Leadership that
gets into the work.

A broader team, built around your needs.

Sarah & Company combines hands-on leadership with a trusted network of experienced bookkeepers, CPAs, tax advisers, fractional leaders, coaches, and recruiting professionals. When an engagement requires additional capacity or specialized expertise, we can bring in or coordinate the right resources for the work.

We are equally comfortable collaborating with a client’s existing CPA, tax adviser, or internal team. Our goal is not to stand outside the business and hand over advice. We become a trusted, transparent, and hands-on extension of the team.

Let’s build a business where
people can do their best work.
